About Kelly
Kelly is passionate about bringing an organization’s goals to life through training and education. She has worked with professionals at every level, and her diverse professional background centers around one idea: connecting people to purpose.
She began her career helping college students learn how to be engaged civic leaders. Kelly developed leadership training for student organization officers and advisors, taught students to effectively train their peers, and designed and implemented an innovative leadership coaching curriculum that included skill-based workshops on leadership and staff training. She also guided cross-departmental partnerships to establish collaborative leadership programs.
Her move into the non-profit sector allowed Kelly to refine her skills in educational program development and learn how to effectively connect with communities. Across a variety of agencies, she has developed volunteer training programs that increased engagement and retention, designed and implemented prevention education programs, and spearheaded training-of-trainers programs. Her work also allowed her to create collaborative spaces that cultivated community partnerships.
Additionally, Kelly has worked on various professional conferences on a local, regional, state, and national level. She served on committees for professional organization conferences, led a college student leadership conference, and spearheaded educational content for a state-wide education conference for child welfare professionals. Each of these experiences built her talent to identify and develop quality learning content and achieve educational event goals.
Outside of her professional work, Kelly strives to be involved in her community. Her volunteering spans from city boards to local roller derby leagues. She also loves domestic and international travel and enjoys spending time with her husband and rescue pets.
